Travel, Unpackaged.

Unpackage Travel was built by travel industry veterans who've spent years designing and distributing packaged trips. We help travelers plan smarter, see clearly, and book directly—without unnecessary layers.

What We Do

What We Don't Do

You book directly with suppliers—on your terms.

Our Mission

To help travelers plan smarter, see clearly, and book directly—without unnecessary layers.

Our story

Unpackage Travel started inside the travel industry, not outside it. Our founders spent years building tour packages, training travel agents, and watching travelers pay for layers they could not see. The product was usually fine. The packaging was the problem.

Packaged trips bundle hotels, transportation, and experiences into a single number. That single number is convenient, but it hides who the supplier actually is, what the room rate would be direct, and which experiences are operated by a third party that you could book yourself. Travelers were asking sharper questions than the industry was set up to answer.

We built Unpackage Travel to answer those questions in plain English. Paste a quote, a proposal, or a plan, and we break it back into its parts—hotels, transportation, experiences, day by day—so the trip is legible before any money moves.

How we're different from a travel agency

A travel agency sells travel. They earn when you book through them, which is a fine model, but it means the proposal you receive is also a sales document. Comparing two agency proposals is hard because the inputs are not labeled the same way and the markups are not disclosed.

Unpackage Travel is a clarity layer, not a sales channel. We do not hold inventory, take commissions, or process payments. We take any travel plan you already have—agency proposal, tour operator quote, AI-generated itinerary, a friend's recommendation—and itemize it so you can compare apples to apples and book whichever components make sense for you.

Who we serve

Independent travelers who already book direct use Unpackage Travel to plan faster. Instead of opening twelve tabs to research a multi-stop itinerary, they paste a draft plan and get a structured, day-by-day breakdown with supplier names and booking links ready to act on.

Travelers reviewing travel-agency or tour-operator proposals use Unpackage Travel to see what they are being sold. The proposal becomes itemized: which nights are at which hotel, who operates each excursion, which transfers are private versus group, what is included and what is optional. Travel planners and family trip organizers use the same tool to give their group transparency before everyone commits.

Trust signals

Your trip data belongs to you. Plans are isolated to your account, we do not sell traveler data, and we earn nothing on the bookings you place. Supplier names, operator details, and component pricing are surfaced in plain English so you can verify them directly with the source before you book.
